The following recordings were made with monophonic AM receivers to demonstrate the compatibility of the Cam-D system with the existing 800 million radios. Stereo recordings will be made available soon.
This recording was made at night 15 miles from the KDYL transmitter running 150 Watts.
The recording has 12 intervals which alternate from receivers having bandwidths of 3.5, 4.5, and 9 kHz in that order
starting with 3.5 kHz and contiuing in that sequence until the 12 intervals are covered in about 11 minutes.
